i am reading "Skate" by Michael Harmon it is a good novel about a rebellious teenager named Ian McDermott, he has practically raising his little brother sammy McDermott because his mother is a drug addict and his father left them. Ian's teacher don't really like him because he is a bad kid. when Ian punches his coach and knocks him out Sammy and Ian are forced to go to go to there dads house because the police are looking for Ian so Ian and sammy set off across the state of washington to there dads house.
I am reading "The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan it is an interesting book it is about a teenager named Percy Jackson who is different. He a a type of person called a "half blood" which means his mom is a mortal and him dad is a greek god (Poseidon). Percy went to camp half blood witch is a place where half bloods go to train. He meets two of his best friends named Grover and Annabeth. Percy is accused of stealing Zeus's master bolt so he has to go on a quest to find the master bolt so zeus will not declare war between all the greek gods.
I am reading "Among The betryed" by Margaret Peterson. It is an awesome book it is about a girl named Nina who is locked in a cell and does not know where she came from or who she is. She is trying to get out of the cell when she finds some keys that helps to find her freedom. Nina is then placed up for adoption, next she gets adopted and moves into her new families home. She has to watch out for the population police because families can only have two children but they have three. Now she can find out her past.
