What are you reading?

Greetings students. We have started independent reading and you all are reading different books. I would like you to come to the Blah Blah Blog and share the titles of your books along with comments for your classmates. Let us know your reactions to characters and events. I am reading "Rowan and the Ice Creepers" by Emily Rodda. It is kind of slow, but it's really starting to pick up now. I really enjoy it and look forward to picking up where I left off.

I am reading "The girl who owned the city" and it's very exciting. This book reminds me of I am legend the movie, except with kids under the age of 12. I can't wait to see what happens next. And the challenges Lisa (the main character) has to go through to survive.

I am reading "The Same Stuff as Stars" and I think it is one of the best books I have read. I like the fact that the two main children's fathers in jail. That in which they can interact with their mom more. I have not raad much of the book, but like how the story line is going so far.

I am reading "Absolutely Normal Chaos" and so far it's really good. I like it because over the summer last year, I wrote in a journal so I know how it feels to like to write about everything that occured duirng the day. I think It's neat that the author used a kid's point of view in diary form. I think it would be a good book to read again.

I am reading " The Same Stuff as Stars". I think it is a good book other than the fact that Angel has to be the mother of her brother georgie more so than her own mother, Verna is to them. Angel and Bernie's father is in jail and has been in there for most of their lives. They did not have a permanent home but they live in one now with their greatgrandmother.
That is where i left off in the story and there was a lot more to talk about. I read a lot more but i woulnt want to spoil the book for some people that want to read it.

I'm reading "The Kid Who Ran for President" It's a very interesting book. I finished the book last friday, but in those days of intense reading, I couldn't put the book down. Everyday I couldn't wait to get to Mrs. DP's class, just because of the book. The only part I didn't like was the end. I won't tell what happened, but I'm just saying I didn't like it.

I am reading "The Kid Who Ran for President" by Dan Gutman. This book is a realistic fiction. It is a slow book at the beginning but the pace picks up in the middle. The humor in this book keeps me laughing and I really enjoy reading it. I can't wait to see who wins the election.

Hello, it is me again,

I am still reading Twilight and it is a very addicting book. Anyone who likes romance and suspense, this is a must-have book. This book is about a vampire named Edward who has to keep a girl named Bella from dying. But this gets harder when the bad vampires come and try to take Bella away. Edward and some other family members have to fight for their life, and Bella's too.

I am reading Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the series of Twilight, which is by the authour Stephenie Meyer. Right now, Bella and Edward just got married and they are at Esme's island that Carlisle had given her for their anniversary. Even thought the book is not real, the author grabs you in in a certain way. When she describes everything that the characters see, she makes it like you are actually there experiencing all the excitement going on.
